Welcome to ComfortHome Caregivers, LLC. We first started with one goal in mind and we continue to this day. That goal is to join together as a team in a combined effort to serve the needs of clients of all ages in Southeast Texas.
We strive to meet the needs of clients and their families. We provide care and comfort any time a family is in need both day and night.
We recognize that ailments can happen at any time to anyone. That is why clients and their families come to us, because they know we will be there throughout their entire wellness journey. We want to be there for clients and their families meeting needs from the start, so that individuals do not have to go to different agencies to have their continued needs met.
We are a proud Chairman Circle Investor of The Woodlands Chamber of Commerce and a member of the Better Business Bureau and Member of the CAA (Caregivers Association of America). Our corporate Board of Directors is made up of ten highly trained professionals, among them includes our Medical Director, Chairmen of the Board, Supervising Registered Nurse, and other members who work not only on the board but within local hospitals and clinics throughout our community.
We follow the mandated personal care Activities of Daily Living (ADL) guidelines to offer assistance, support, and aid to clients in both homes and facilities without changing their routines. Additionally, we adhere to the AMA (American Medical Association) for our continued training.
Our agency offers a wide variety of options from which to choose. We recognize the importance of providing continued comfort care, which best meets the specific needs of clients and their families. We provide unity of care for the individual and their whole family as we focus on meeting physical, spiritual, and emotional needs. Our team goes out to provide comfort at personal residences, nursing homes, assisted living facilities, residential hospice units, hospitals, and personal care homes.
Further, we uphold the values of Dr. Saunders. Dame Cicely Saunders shaped Home Health and was the founding member of Hospice care in England. She was a trained nurse, a medical social worker, and she went on to become a doctor. In 1948, as she became more involved with the care of patients with life-long and life-threatening illnesses, she instituted the hospice program. Since that time, it has become a worldwide health care program that helps to provide comfort to those in need of supportive care.
She went on to become world-renowned. Before she died in July 2005, she gave lectures and become a well-respected published author. This is a famous quote shared by Dr. Saunders. “You matter to the last moment of your life, and we will do all we can, not only to help you…, but help you live a full life...”
